The key to the Retail Development Programme is that it really is most importantly a development programme. This means that we are not looking for candidates with years of experience, instead we look for those with the potential to be one of the future leaders in our business.
The application process itself depends on which of the two routes you choose.
Opt for the Nottingham Business School route, and you’ll need to apply through UCAS, searching for Nottingham Trent University and using the course code N200. You’ll need at least 340 UCAS points and it’s worth checking the UCAS website to check the closing date for applications. If your initial application is successful, the school will invite you to an assessment centre; give you more information on the course and a chance to tour the campus. Do well at the first assessment centre and we’ll invite you to a second one with us halfway through your first year. We’ll then let you know if you’ve successfully secured a position on the Retail Development Programme.
Opt for the Lord Ashcroft International Business School route and you will need at least 240 UCAS points (from 3 A Levels or equivalent) and 5 GCSE’s grade A – C (including English & Maths). To apply for this route, click the ‘Apply’ button at the top of this page and select ‘Retail Development Programme’ when prompted.
