We set up Barclays Technology Centre (BTC) Singapore in January 2008 to support our Retail Banking businesses across the globe. With over 200 colleagues based in our Changi Business Park office, BTC Singapore provides critical IT solutions that underpin our determination to innovate and be the best. Broadly, it’s organised into four teams.
Product Management and Delivery
Designs, develops and delivers core banking applications for Retail Banking operations in Asia, Africa, Western Europe and other emerging market countries.
Business Engagement and Delivery
Builds effective technology partnerships and customer relationships with country business and IT teams by engaging with and analysing businesses, developing franchises and managing programs end to end.
Service and Operations Management
Improves the efficiency of everything from people and processes to technology and operational support functions by defining and promoting standards that govern things like vendor management, control and compliance.
Global Infrastructure and Service Delivery
Oversees the day-to-day and end-to-end availability and quality of our IT infrastructure through services that include centralised batch operations, infrastructure monitoring and support, incident administration, system administration and production services.

Who we look for
To be part of our expanding operation in Singapore, you’ll need to be graduating in 2010 from a Singapore university with an Honours degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Information technology
- Computer Science (Maths)
