Life after the programme

So what happens at the end of the programme? After 2 years of working in a business, experiencing 3 different placements and expanding your professional and personal expertise, we fully expect you to secure a role which fits your skill set. We want the best and you will be expected to prove yourself after your programme so the demands are high but the rewards even better. During your final placement we’ll offer you the support you need to help you find the right role for you whether in HR, CMO, Credit Risk or one of our Commercial businesses.

Whichever role you go into, you will continue to receive opportunities for development. We have a Barclaycard Academy which has been designed to grow and develop all our employees right across the organisation and we will work with you to determine how you develop in your new role. At each stage of your career, the Barclaycard Academy offers a development programme to suit you whether you are in a specialist role such as Credit Risk or CMO or leading a key project across a diverse customer base.
