About the programme

Our Summer Internship Programme is designed specifically for students who are interested in gaining real-world commercial experience while developing an understanding of what it’s like to work with Barclays. Over the course of the eight-week programme, you’ll begin to understand the skills and capabilities you need to reach top positions within the group.

You won’t be here just to make up the numbers. We’ll expect you to make a real contribution from day one. So, alongside the valuable skills and experience you’ll gain during your time on the programme, you’ll be rewarded with competitive pay.

Our next round of summer internships will commence in June 2009. That might seem like a long way off, but the application deadline isn’t. It’s February 13th 2009 – and as demand for places is always high, and we recruit on a first-come, first-served basis, it’s wise to apply as soon as possible.
