About Finance

Finance is one of our broadest teams and employs around 3000 people across the business globally. In fact, work in Finance and you could find yourself anywhere from our Head Office in London reporting on Group results, through to Barclaycard in Northampton looking at how to align Barclaycard with other brands and businesses. And it's not all about reporting on numbers either – we're just as focused on finding ways to drive business performance and provide expert advice to Barclays diverse range of businesses.

Two core areas of Finance are:

• Financial Control – helps the bank maintain a clear financial framework and produces statutory and regulatory reports and
• Business Partnering – advises on the financial implications of our various business strategies and reports on the broader economic and financial climate.
